UNLV Career Advisory Council
Purpose
The UNLV Career Advisory Council is comprised of employer community leaders who are actively involved in hiring and developing the college educated workforce. Human Resource leaders serving on the Council help facilitate the attainment of UNLV and Career Services’ ambitious goals by:
- Developing strategic ties with the UNLV employer community to positively influence career opportunities for UNLV graduates.
- Providing valuable work/learning experiences for UNLV students that enhance knowledge, skills, self awareness, leadership, and marketability upon graduation.
- Improving the professional development and career preparedness of UNLV students and the experienced alumni workforce.
- Lending advice and expertise to UNLV Administration and UNLV Career Services staff to ensure high quality, comprehensive academic programs and career services to the UNLV student body in developing an educated workforce.
