How can I create a positive impression during the interview? The best advice I can give for the interview process is, it's kind of my little slogan. Interview the interviewer. So, go in there and have done your research. Do research about the company, do research about the person who's interviewing you, if you have the name beforehand. And then formulate questions based on what you find online or through periodicals. Those such references. And you can go in there and show that you've done your homework and gain more information and show that you're really interested in the position and the company. My best advice I can give for preparing your dress for an interview is if you know where you'll be interviewing, the office. I suggest going maybe the day before, a couple of days before and just kind of sit. Watch people enter, watch people exit. See what they're wearing, and maybe take it up a notch. If people wear business, maybe go in in a suit. And so you look like you are professional and ready to take on the type of culture that they have in the building. The quicker you can follow up, is the better. It will keep your name and your face in the interviewer's mind as kind of a top of mind thinking. The best ways to do it is through email or, if possible, you can always do a hand delivered thank you note, or through mail as well.
